The primary vision of CRGC is to provide educational resources and practical support to African Christian leaders to deal with the religious and socioeconomic issues in their communities.

Our Story

Established in 2008, CRGC's Library holds books and other resources that the majority of universities and theological institutions in Nigeria do not have in their libraries. New books are added frequently.

In 2009, CRGC started an Institute that runs short-term courses in the summer (June-August) on several topics such as mission, religion, pastoral counseling, theology, and religious conflict & resolution.

Also, it inaugurated a Community Development office in 2009 that partners with local NGOs and other community development agencies that provide food and shelter to children in great needs.

Center for Research in Global Christianity (CRGC) is an  independent research center that equips  African Christian leaders to effectively address religious and social issues in Africa. To achieve these tasks, CRGC operates a Library, an Institute, and a Community Development project. These three  services are designed to meet the educational needs of pastors, missionaries, theologians, students of theology and religion, and lay Christian leaders.

CRGC is unique because it is ecumenical. It promotes inter-denominational conversations and inter-religious dialogues with the aim to deal with the theological, religious, and socioeconomic issues African people face daily.

CRGC library holds resources, books, and academic journals in African Christianity, African theologies, African indigenous religions, global Christianity, religious dialogues, reconciliation studies, mission, ethics, world religions, Pentecostal studies, and in many other areas.
